About Monsignor Don Fischer

Ordained as a Roman Catholic Priest in 1967, Msgr. Don has spent his entire career proudly serving the communities of Dallas, Texas under the influence of the Second Vatican Council.

In 1987 Msgr. Don began broadening his ministry with a Sunday morning radio program on Dallas’ WRR FM 101.1 entitled Pastoral Reflections. His unique and engaging style as a homilist was highly celebrated by his past partitioners and new listeners alike.

In 2010, Msgr. chose to retire at the age 70 but has continued Pastoral Reflections every Sunday since by offering his weekly homilies on the radio and online.
