In a world where we experience so much division and restlessness, Pastoral Reflections Institute offers a distinct and much needed message of unity and hope. Drawing upon the indwelling presence of God in our hearts, this message moves us beyond excessive fear, guilt, and shame. This unique reflection on the Gospel is why PRI’s impact is expanding worldwide. In addition to North America, we have a growing base of listeners in Africa, Australia, South America, and Asia. We share the exploration and teaching of God’s indwelling presence as a universal spiritual truth through podcasts, radio, online videos, seminars, and pilgrimages to Tuscany.
Our Mission
At Pastoral Reflections Institute, we envision a world where love, mercy, and grace are the guiding principles of all spiritual and religious practices. We strive to foster a deeper understanding of God's profound love and grace, awakening hearts and minds to the divine presence within each of us. We aim to heal the wounds inflicted by criticism, judgment, and control through radical self-love, acceptance, and intention. By rejecting fear, shame, and judgment, we support a transformative journey towards knowing and loving God, oneself, and others, and we nurture a community where every individual is seen, valued, and embraced with love.
The Third Lecture in our four-part series was on August 17th. The video will be available in a few weeks. The final lecture in the series will be on December 7th at the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth.
We are excited to share with you the videos from the first and second lectures in our four-part series, Recovering a Religion Rooted in Grace and Mercy!
In case you missed it, Msgr. Don spoke about how a post-Vatican II church impacts our lives. We learned how the Vatican Council transformed his heart and continues to awaken others to God's love and mercy today. Most importantly, we shared a renewed hope in the Council’s teachings on love and the future of the Church.

LATEST REFLECTION
Due to health concerns, the Daily Reflections on Scripture will be temporarily paused. While Msgr. Don's health is improving daily, we will be repurposing a series of topical reflections recorded in 2022 to continue offering spiritual guidance. These reflections will be sent out by email every Wednesday morning, and will also be available on this website, as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages.
We are deeply grateful for your continued support and prayers as Msgr. Don continues on the path to recovery. Thank you for your understanding and for walking alongside us in this time of transition.
Blessings and peace,
The Pastoral Reflections Institute
